Kyosho MP10e TKi2 E Buggy
Why Kyosho? What made me choose this brand? Excellent question! To me it comes down to three things: Quality, I have never had a bad/missing part in ANY Kyosho kit. Everything is extremely high quality. Design, the Inferno series has had the same engineer for eons (Yuichi Kanai), I believe that leads to a consistent and effective evolution of the platform over time. Kyosho holds 8 world championships, I think the proof is in the pudding. Not to mention Kanai was crowned the world champ in 2000. This recipe is one for success! Reputation, all things I have mentioned have led to their reputation of being a world class designer & manufacturer of premium competition RC Cars.
I will say one other small contributing factor… Growing up reading RC Car Action Magazine if their was ONE car I could have it would have been the Kyosho Inferno MP5. For me Kyosho is part of living a childhood dream. I am not saying other brands suck by any means. I ran Tekno cars in 2023 and real enjoyed them. I went back to Kyosho in 2024 and found the cars INSTANTLY easier to drive. In simple terms I just click with these cars.
All of that aside it all boils down to what works for you. Nothing else matters, not what XYZ pro is driving or what the dude at the track said is good. What works for you? Drive that, go fast, and have fun.
That’s what it is all about.
